In the unethical circumstances of the Second Sino-Japanese War thousands of innocent prisoners were chemically experimented on, tortured and murdered in the name of medicine, science and the state. The purpose: to develop effective weapons for biological warfare. This project researches how the mind of the doctors dehumanised their test subjects by means of reproducing the historical experiments on logs of wood, as the prisoners of Unit 731 were called by their doctors.
